I am glad mine has a key. The keyless entry and push to start while nice as previous car had it is easier to steal. Plus isn't the keypad on door wired in on older models now dealer option battery powered not wired in anymore?

I think that's the worst part about the Maverick. The interior quality is absolutely abysmal and it doesn't meaningfully change between a $24,000 XL and a $41,000 Tremor.the Maverick has more parts that carry across to all models, and those are cheap, easily scratched plastics.

I will have to disagree. The active x material used in the Lariat trim is superior to the cloth used in the lower trims. This is just one of many significant differences between trims.I think that's the worst part about the Maverick. it still doesn't justify charging 40,000$ for a "truck" with (easily scratched) hard plastic trim everywhere, exposed bolts etc. I looked at a lariat with a BAP and while significantly nicer than the xl and xlt, it was about on-par with my wifes 20,000$ hyundai veloster she bought in 2016. Which isn't exactly a high benchmark.I will have to disagree. The active x material used in the Lariat trim is superior to the cloth used in the lower trims. the rest is features, not material quality. This is just one of many significant differences between trims.
