I am glad mine has a key. The keyless entry and push to start while nice as previous car had it is easier to steal. Plus isn't the keypad on door wired in on older models now dealer option battery powered not wired in anymore?

the Maverick has more parts that carry across to all models, and those are cheap, easily scratched plastics.
I think that's the worst part about the Maverick. The interior quality is absolutely abysmal and it doesn't meaningfully change between a $24,000 XL and a $41,000 Tremor.

But those threads!
I always get compliments they like the orange highlight.
Or they are trying to find something nice to say beyond "oh that's interesting" while touching the fractured plastic.

I have to wonder, since when did orange become such a common interior color?
I would have been much happier with all the orange accents on my FX4 being black, grey or silver.

I will have to disagree. The active x material used in the Lariat trim is superior to the cloth used in the lower trims. This is just one of many significant differences between trims.

it still doesn't justify charging 40,000$ for a "truck" with (easily scratched) hard plastic trim everywhere, exposed bolts etc. I looked at a lariat with a BAP and while significantly nicer than the xl and xlt, it was about on-par with my wifes 20,000$ hyundai veloster she bought in 2016. Which isn't exactly a high benchmark.

I've got a 2025 on order because of the short bed, hybrid drivetrain and size, but don't be disingenuous by pretending that the interior isn't abysmal on these for the price once you hit the higher tier trims.

the rest is features, not material quality.

I do like my Lariat active X seats, but I would have gotten cloth if I could have ACC with cloth.

Most (maybe even all?) other Ford vehicles that offer ACC can offer it on a trim level that has cloth seats. Active X is comfy, but it's much hotter than cloth in the summer, and I am very active in the summer so I have put a lot of extra sweat into those seats.

Monday morning QBs can get the truck order right. Knowing what you want and like.
On my 23 XL I would like XLT rim/wheels .. the xl wheels are ugly. My daughter purchased a Ford Escape with a huge screen with a navigation system that I wish my truck had..
