I agree with redskins5. I received a new battery on my 2023 under warranty after only owning it for 6 months. Seemed to solve the deep sleep issue for awhile but then the deep sleep started again. I took it to a different dealership and they told me there were some reprogramming issues that they took care of. So far it seems fine.
I'm finding that this fix is dependent on which dealer you use. I've mentioned this every time I go to my dealer and I get the same "dealer-speak" nonsense: "Sleep mode is how the vehicle protects itself from battery drain." "You just need to drive it more often". Utter BS. It's not like the Maverick has the electronics of a space station and there are numerous vehicles out there with more technology that do not have this issue. Dear Ford: Just fix the freaking problem and replace the subpar battery!
I still had battery issues after the battery harness recall was done. I hate dealing with the dealer so never went to them about battery issue. They can never do anything in a time frame that I think is appropriate. The airbag recall is about a 2 hour job but I had to leave it all day even with a 8:00 AM appointment. So it was worth it to me to just replace the battery myself. I got the AC Delco agm. Been fine ever since.
