The first picture could be an optical illusion but appears the trailer is not level. This suggest the hitch height is to high. If this is true it can put the majority of weight distribution to the rear which may cause swaying. Just wondering how it pulled. I'm hoping this is from the picture and the trailer is level. If your hooked up on a level surface a quick level on the surface of the tongue or inside on the floor of the trailer is a quick check, just a suggestion.Little Rig Trey made a nice haul ... plenty of eyes on him this weekend!
FYI glad to see the Maverick in action and appreciate the post. Just the picture impelled me to ask about the trailer. Again I hope it's just an optical illusion from taking a picture at a angle.

Look at the background where the brick retaining wall is, it's parked on a slight slope.
Looks like the surface is on a decline including the truck which wouldn't create what I'm suggesting. The illusion may be from the camera angle and the trailer further away. Just had to mention it, but thanks for posting that it was indeed level.

Given how often we see people not using the correct drop or raise on a hitch it's worth mentioning any time it's possible.
So how did it pull? You didn't mention that in your OP. If it's anything similar to my experience, you couldn't tell it was back there. Of course I didn't have the frontal area. Just used it several times to pick up pallet of lime plus the trailer put me at my limit. I was very happy and surprised by my experience, hoping yours was as well

I agree, if you draw a line through the center of the Mav and continue along the two-tone border on the trailer, in all of the photos the trailer appears to be slightly higher on the tongue end. Slightly lower tongue would be better than slightly high. But, I also agree that it could be an optical illusion.
How was it? That looks like a Puma Ultra Lite 12FBX. If so the tongue weight is 410lbs and the trailer empty is 2839lbs with a GVWR of 3910lb.Little Rig Trey made a nice haul ... plenty of eyes on him this weekend!

Correct on the 12FBX.
The truck did a good job although at times felt a push / pull feeling. Our 1st tow of anything with a y vehicle so hard to judge.
Went 40 miles, mostly flat and MPG went from normal 29 to 12!
