My 2010 Escape was totaled when son borrowed it for his job while his was in the shop. I had planned on it lasting another 10+ yrs.
Needed another vehicle. Did research - tried out various brands. I wanted a vehicle my 91 yr old Mom could get in/out of, back seat for the dog, able to haul stuff to the dump and the field, plus room for her walker. Wanted a hybrid but 24’s did not have towing.

7/2024 Settled on 2024 HPR Lariat 2.0L ecoboost with 4K tow and FX4 offroad that had just came on the lot that day. Plus it fits in the garage in spite of all the junk. Doesn’t get the best mileage yet, but don’t have that many miles on it since it just goes to town couple times a week. Dressed my Mav up since I plan on it being the last vehicle I will buy.

Mobett door side storage tray, trash can with cup holders, center console armrest cover, dashboard storage containers, rear door storage boxes, center console cup holder tray, center console organizer tray. (Holds a lot of stuff and keeps car un-cluttered.)
Cup coasters X8
Car seat headrest hooks X2 - handy for grocery bags.
Carhart front/back car seat covers, dashboard cover. Paying for the name but look so cool.
Drop Stop - saved French fries from landing on the floor..
8” dashboard glass screen protector.
Husky liner floor mats front/back tray style - saved from getting the car muddy & collects the sand.
Truck bed & tailgate - rubber mats
Tri-fold hard tonneau bed cover.
Hyper hitch 12” step & receiver pin. Did have to move the license plate over to the right so I would not get stopped by the cops. Already have the trailer as I go to the dump, etc 2-3 X’s/yr.
EGR in-channel window visors & bug deflector
Tinted side windows along with visor on front window.
Put a Broadfeet nudge bar on today - well the shop did.
Just need to put the rear bumper cover plate on & install the dash-cam since the kid did not want it.

Do I need all of that - probably not. But I like it.
Salvaged what I could out of the Escape and threw it in the pick-up including the dog seatcover. It’s loose so probably end up with scratches on the door. But just like the dust in the pictures - Live on a gravel road and things are meant to be used.
And even better - It’s Paid Off.
That’s my Molly getting her 1st ride in the pick-up. She’s my rescue pup and rules my life.
And yeah - the kid (doesn’t matter how old they are) - does not get to drive my toy.

Well, I'm hoping this is my first and last one too. At least for the next dozen years or even more. Absolutely love driving it and the hybrid MPGs! It's my first truck ever and boy, does having a truck bed come in handy where minivans and SUVs don't!

I will be honest - I didn't read any of the text, I skipped straight to the pictures. I scrolled, admired, smiled at your pup, and then my face went to đŸ˜± as soon as I saw the last picture...

The Nudge Bar looks very cool. How functional would you say it is? IOW, would it protect the front end in say a 5 mph collision, or is it more for aesthetics?
I have no idea and don’t want to know if it would save my front end in 5mph or less.
I do know with it on, I will not be scratching up the front end when parking in the garage.
I wanted one on my pickup for the cool look (imo) and to be different than anyone else in town for right now.

Congratulations on getting your Maverick!

Perhaps one thing that is missing - a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

See details at Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($6 delivered)

Congrats again on getting your Mav and thanks for considering.

Broadfeet nudge bar with skid plate.
I like it - my front end isn’t getting beat up by curbs. To be honest - the skid plate is bent But I don’t care about that.
It does not interfere with any of the automated driving systems.
Are those the screws connecting the lower bar to the skid plate or can u attach a light bar mount there or just have to drill the bar? Thanks
