I went with a 5 pack and some rubber washers to protect the paint.

I have the Bedliner which prevents contact with the paint. But I drilled the holes in the Bedliner perfectly only exposing the screw holes, so the rings screw in perfectly and press against the Bedliner.

Looks like a great idea, and at that price how can you go wrong.

I did not see any markings on my bed liner, so you must have removed the sides. Are there markings in the other side of the bed liner to make it easy to locate holes?

Yes, once you remove the bed liner there is a mark on the other where each hole is located.

For what it's worth, I paid for the Ford Cargo Management system when I built the truck order. I wish I hadn't and had done something like this instead.

imo the CM system would be good for the sliding divider Mabett has long time promised and little else.

Looks like a good addition, especially since my Maverick has a tonneau cover. How do the bolts attach…ie, how complicated is the installation process?

Hello Maverick owner,
Ford is selling the Cargo Management System for $420. I got mines for $12 on Amazon. Pictures attached

I actually think these are better than the rail system.
I would recommend reading the owner's manual about how to properly secure loads. In addition, the rail system spreads any force across multiple attachment points and not just one- if you're not careful you'll end up with a bent truck bed where one of those hooks gets pulled hard...

They just screw into the screw hole that the Maverick comes with. All maverick have them for the cargo management system. The ring bolts just screw right in. There are 4 holes on the passenger side and 3 on the driver side.

Fair point but I think that will only matter for people who intend on loading huge and heaving stuff that needs to be tied down extremely tight. The payload for the hybrids is 1500-Ibs so most people won’t be using this to carry big and heavy stuff that would need that level tension on the tiedowns. But it’s still something to be aware of that you don’t apply crazy tension that could bend the truck bed. But again, you can use multiple ring hooks to share the tension as well.
