Well, the Santa Fe will finally have some direct competition, only not in a good way.

I'm not crazy about the looks of the Fiat Toro. I wish the nose was more square and less SUV-like. And behind the back glass, I'd like to see them lose whatever you call those wings that sweep back, because those block access to the front of the bed if you're wanting to load something in from the side.

That being said, it's not nearly as ugly as the Santa Cruz even without any changes.

Maybe for Ram, they'll strike a balance between the cosmetics of the Toro and the Maverick...maybe make it similar to the 2020-era Colorado. Let's face it; the Maverick is a bit plain.

I'm a true RAM fan thru and thru, have a Maverick because it fits better financially than a RAM currently. But if they offer a Rampage with a Hybrid engine & around what I paid for my Maverick. Then bye bye Maverick, it was nice and all, but RAM has my heart!!
I think the price is going to be the hang up. Can't see them match the Maverick price

I would wait for the Toyota if I has to order a Maverick now. Especially since the Ford ordering process seems to be a maze of futility.
And Toyota ordering system is better? Oh yeah, they don't have one. You take what they built. Plus if they do it, Toyota hasn't confirmed they will,it will be at least two years.

Motor Trend just released it is not coming to the US. Fox News quotes RAM official saying SA only but they are looking that it eventually may come to US.
Makes sense. There's no reason for them to sell it here. They can't compete with Ford on pricing.

Exactly they don't. May not get exactly what you want but you will get one. Unlike Ford's "system".

That's old news. Later the same day an exec at Dodge/Ram confirmed it is coming to the US this year.

They will still sell 40-50,000 a year to Diehard Dodge guys.

Diehard Dodge guys don't buy small trucks. 😉
Sure they do. A friend will as soon as they are out. Dodge guys created the mid size segment.

I think it's decent looking, tbh, but don't trust the Fiat quality. Still, the more small trucks the better... all the dudes with their full-size 4x4 diesel emotional support vehicles is getting ridiculous.

I have a 15 ram 2500 diesel. I ordered a maverick ( unscheduled) because the smaller truck fits my needs perfectly without hopping in my big truck.

if ram does come though. I’ll 100% look at it. Really want my maverick tho.

Am I the only one who thinks it still looks BIG, like Ranger big, not Maverick small?
Nope it's big just like the Dakotas and Comanches were. If they can figure out 2000 lbs of payload and 6000lbs of towing(easily done in past Mopar unibodies) it will be a serious contender. If it doesn't better the Maverick in those figures it will flop or forever be known as a poser mobile.
