Like many, soon after I got my Maverick, I added tailgate letters. Since I'm a Gator and I have an Alto Blue Maverick, I chose orange, and really liked it. Well, today I added some lettering to the rear sides of the bed, matching the orange tailgate lettering. And yes, I need to finish washing the truck.

Did another trip to the Dillo dirt drop off and then picked up stuff to make succulent and cactus soil.

Never liked the “extended” look of the ventvisors on the side windows.
So I took them off, cut off a couple of inches on the forward end of each, and reinstalled them.
Needed new double-sided tape. But I have to say, the old, original tape was tenacious! Waited for a “warm” sunny day (50+). Let it sit in the sun until late in the afternoon.
Much better now.

-Remove the back door window visor.
-Clean off the old tape.
-Hold the visor in the desired position, aligning the after end of the visor with
the desired position on the window. (I stuck mine on the black window trim.)
-Mark off the top and bottom of the overlapping forward end of the visor to
be excised.
-Draw a line……..and cut it off.
-Apply new tape.
-Stick it on.

Went to Lowes and picked up 15 bags of mulch and two adirondack chairs with room in the bed to spare. Someone with a Santa Cruz loaded up next to me and filled up the bed with 15 bags of mulch.

This is the first time the new truck has carried a load.

I finally had to re-fill the windshield washer fluid. In some other thread some were saying they could only fit a small amount of fluid so I’m here to report that I ran my reservoir dry and was able to easily put an entire gallon of fluid in. Sure hope those that said they could only put in 16oz or so were filling the correct reservoir!
