Pretty large dealership in central Indiana. Manager told me Ecoboost would be first to be manufactured and I don`t care about gas mileage so I went with that. I did e-mail him this morning asking about the order. Haven`t heard back from him yet. Counted 8 Bronco`s on the lot this morning when I drove by.

what one? I am also from central Indiana. Ray Skillman?

is this email from Ford or your dealer?

That email was from directly from Ford. It is in the same format as the order confirmation email that also comes directly from Ford. This same email format is sent again when it's updated to 'your vehicle is built' and updated again when your vehicle is shipped.

Here is the order confirmation email. You can see how the process moves from order confirmed, to scheduled for production, to built, to shipped. Those are the 4 emails that come directly from Ford.

I'm starting to think the main thing that matters is dealership size. I reserved mid June an XLT, AWD, 4K towing, and no options other than a sliding window in the back and drop in liner. Pretty basic, so I guess I ordered from a small dealer (Kindle Ford, Cape May Court House, NJ) and that's the hold up.

I ordered from the smallest dealership so I could (hopefully) get better service. Ordered my XLT Lux, AWD, 4K, FX4 on 6/14 and it is scheduled for 9/13. I was the first one they put in the system.

surprised you went to ecoboost and haven't been scheduled from June 10. Small dealership? Any constraints?

I don't know what a small dealership has to do with it. I ordered from a small dealership on July 2 and was scheduled on August 5th for a Sept 20 build. If anything I feel it helped me. Velocity blue, Echo, Xlt, AWD, towing, full size spare and 360. I originally called a large dealership and they gave me delivery time of spring. I feel it was to my advantage.

I'm hoping for December as well, but my gut says more like Jan or Feb at this point. I'll revisit the tonneau cover constraint issue when the November scheduling dates start hitting to see if I need to drop down to a "regular" Lariat Lux without a cover.

I think that option is called "Lariat Poverty"....

Just received my email confirming my build date of week of October 18. I ordered my XLT with the 2.0 ecoboost AWD luxury package and the 4k towing package. I was sweating it being delayed due to the shortages of spray in bed liner and the trifold bed cover. I ordered on 7/22 so I guess that helped. From what I hear I should get delivery November 18, Hope that holds true.
