That is not apples to apples.
Thanks, you're right. My "laying in bed" quick math was wrong. Also hurting some feelings with my hot take on the idiocy of ADM, so I'm deleting my original post 🙃

No problem!

Prices definitely going up, just not as bad as you thought at first.

It just isn't these trucks that are going up. Every week when I go to the grocery store the price of almost everything is increasing.

So the XLT is going up $1460 for MY24 it looks like. That includes the $1595 delivery fee which is not going up for MY24. I wonder how much certain options are going up? Also IIRC Ford increased pricing a couple of times for the 23MY so there could be more price increases throughout the model year.

Well, one way to balance supply and demand is to reduce demand. These price increases will reduce the demand as other vehicles become a little bit more comparable price-wise and some, with better quality/options:(

My '22 Lariat EB with 360, "full size" spare, inverter, and trailer hitch was $28,750. Now 36,450 base price.

Also financed at 0%........
Price: The Lariat Lux Pkg is standard in MY24 according to my reading of the post.

My MY22 Lariat 2.0 EB without Lariat Lux pkg but with CP360, sunroof, hitch, backup sensors, full size spare stickered at $30,990. I paid $495 for LineX SIBL.

Lariat Lux package AND Copilot 360 AND Copilot 360 Assist AND SIBL are all now included in the "Base" Lariat MSRP. That was $2610, $750, $650 and $495...so you are getting $4505 of adds now included at no extra cost in 2024.

I'm happy with my 23, I would maybe consider going to the Terrain but I would like it to be more of a light gold color than what it looks like. Happy with my Gray with BAP.

It looks like they've standardized the most popular options and adjusted the prices accordingly, but they're still comparable to the current MY. Unfortunate for people that want a base, no option cheap truck perhaps, but in reality will streamline the manufacturing by eliminating so many variations of the truck (although there are still a lot of variations compared to other new cars). Hopefully this will help them churn out more of these trucks since they haven't been able to keep up with demand. I'm surprised that the hyrbid model is only going to account for ~35% of the MY24 crop - I would think they would be way more in demand than the ecoboost AWD model since fuel economy is a huge plus and the payload is essentially the same. Perhaps I'm in the minority for thinking that the great economy is one of the primary perks of the maverick.

Dang, no Eruption Green option. Looks like I'll keep my '23 and skip ordering a '24.

Also in '22, AWD was an option but was made base in '23. I live in Ga, raised in Iowa, and FWD will get me where I want to go in the winter. If it can't, I do not need to be on the road anyway!!!!

From Tim's video:

'24 Lariat EcoBoost will be $4280 more than '23
'24 Lariat Hybrid will be $5780 more than '23

You're paying for those "no extra cost" add-ons.

Interesting that they finally decided to make the 2.0 the base engine. Azure Grey is a nicer color than A51, although similar. Terrain is a washed out beige..As @Potatomafia said, they really should have gone with Eruption Green and Kodiak Brown, or a darker beige/tan.
