Been a week since 24C01 and 23E09 on my wife's Maverick. No issues so far. Slightly better mpg and braking seems smoother. If these issues people are experiencing really are a result of the update (23E09), why does it only seem to be affecting certain vehicles? Could this be linked to the CV...
Yes, push it up then pull towards you from the bottom and pops out. It pops back on just as easily. The only annoying part was disconnecting the harness for the defroster. The other side was easier and the two BLIS connectors slide right off on both sides.
Haven't gotten the Maverick ones yet but they were easy to install in my Bronco. There are videos online, including on the Bronco mirror page on Suma's site.
It has nothing to do with the color of your vehicle. White just means a regular mirror. It's not actually white. The blue tinted ones eliminate glare, but aren't reccommended if you have tinted windows. I have dark tints and I'm happy with the regular ones. They expand your field of vision...
No one else interested? Jan 5th is the last day to order to get this deal. 8 more orders gets us 10% off.
On a side note, installed the ones I ordered for my Bronco last week and they really are great. Don't even need BLIS when you have these mirrors. Can't wait to get these for my wife's Mav.
Are they lighter or heavier than the stock wheels? If they were lighter than stock XLT wheels I would consider them since I took a hit to mpg with 245/65 Wildpeak AT Trails. Been trying to find the stock XLT wheel weight online but haven't been able to.
I edited the link. It's the same mirrors the Bronco Sport uses so they have them on the same page:

Not sure what you're asking. The link is in the post. It directs you to their homepage...you find the Bronco Sport/Maverick mirrors, select which options you want, add it to your cart, and apply the coupon code at check-out.
I reached out to Suma about a group buy since they're having another one on Bronco6G. I was able to snag a set for my Bronco and wanted one for my wife's Maverick also. They agreed to offer a group buy exclusively for us and responded with the following info:

What was everyone's turnaround time from when they did the recall to receiving the water bottle? Was the survey mandatory in order to receive it? Did the recall on May 8th, never received the survey via email, or a water bottle. Should I call Ford Marketing about this?
There's a big difference in value between the Ford ESP offered at $50 over cost and the extended warranties that dealers often try to sell you. They usually offer their own extended warranties, which are indeed marked up a ton, not the Ford ESP. I would never buy the dealer's but as others have...
Take a look at Xenit orange cleaner by Stoner to remove grease from plastic. It's potent and I've always had good experiences using it on plastic and metal. I can't imagine it would stain exterior plastics but I'm not sure it's safe on painted metal so definitely do some research.
Edit...
That hasn't been my experience at most dealership service departments. For example, I had an FPP exhaust put in my Explorer. Got it for cheap, dealer didn't hose me even though I didn't buy from them. I realize maintenance is different than repairs but I just did the same with an oil change in...

Buy the parts yourself and then take them to the dealer for install and only pay labor. Every single part listed on that bill can be had for at least 30% off the retail price.
