Nice… (would have been a cool pic)At work, our landscaper got his zero turn mower stuck in our mucky grass by a drainage ditch/retention pond. I pulled him out with my Maverick using my towstrap and hitch.
Small old school private campground in Edinburgh Va. There's a creek that divides the houses from the campground stocked with trout and smallmouth. The town had a weekend long festival with bed races, multiple music venues, antique car shows, and more that we could walk to, so quite a fun getaway.Camping? Looks like in somebody's back yard.
I didn't even think about it at the time. I had just pulled in to the parking lot in my company vehicle after picking up lunch, so I was thinking more about my spicy BBQ chicken strips.Nice… (would have been a cool pic)
No damage to the wheels with the impact wrench?I did my first tire rotation and second oil change at just under 11k miles this weekend. For decades I have rotated my own tires using a breaker bar and torque wrench. Why it took me this long to buy an impact wrench I'll never know. What a time (and joints) saver.
Today's photo op with tools after re-checking torque after 100 mile commute.

None that I see. This socket is pretty 'right sized.' Impact rated but not as thick walled. (Duralast, from whatever parts store sells that brand, IIRC.) We'll see if that changes over time, although I was looking at 'wheel safe' sockets so there's a good chance I'll add one to the tool box.No damage to the wheels with the impact wrench?
Where the pictures areInstalled Mabett Underbody Cavity Shield Cover today. had to stop in mid-install, and run to Home Depot to get an 18mm socket, and I needed my breaker bar to loosen the factory 18mm bolts. Mabett provides two brackets that have to be attached as the first steps in the install process - I had to loosen and realign them to get in the right place for the screws that secure the plates. Otherwise, not too difficult, except for laying on the garage floor to do everything.
Instructions that came in the box show EcoBoost drawings, but the Mabett website has a very good installation video for the Hybrid, which has a different exhaust pipe setup. I followed the video step-by-step, although the truck is up on a lift in the video, so it takes a little bit of mental reorientation if you don't have that luxury.
Also, the box has a bit of a translation issue...

Also this week: Installed black MAVERICK letters on the tailgate and Mabett fender flares and mudflaps.
Photos of those in other threads...
Yeah, sorry - hard to get recognizable photos while laying on the ground a few inches below the shield.Where the pictures are
