Normally not a dress up type of guy especially with ‘carbon fiber’, but gotta say these look pretty good. Adds a little flair when you get in and then it disappears.

Advertised as real carbon fiber, not sure if it is, but looks really good anyways.

All these little stick on, bolt on toys are cool but I just don’t see the need or benefit.
As for looks I think this was only the second time I’ve looked down at my kick plate.

Mud flaps, I got those they keep my truck sides cleaner.
Rubber floor mats because some goof ball thought a truck should have carpet and not a rubber floor.
My dog cradle in the back seat protects my pleather from his toes.

I’ve never even had the slightest issue handling my super light tail gate or hood without gas piston assistance.

My factory brakes are plenty powerful.
My engine gets up and boogies just fine in its stock form.

I think I’m good but I do like seeing all the toys people add.

Just sayin.

Has anybody put any old school pin stripes on a Mav yet ?

Just added hood struts to get rid of prop rod. Works perfectly

If you have a child / teen that does any kind of sport with cleats, rear kick plates are highly benificial to protect the paper thin factory paint.

If you're carrying groceries or other heavy / bulky items that need two hands because why drag the cart all the way to the parking lot, being able to pull the latch with your 1 -2 free fingers and let it drop slowly without the need to guide it down or let it slam is a really nice convenience.

For the hood, the need for struts is a head scratcher, especially the hybrid. I'm changing the oil maybe once every 9 - 12 months, and wiper fluid a few extra times a year. Not worth a $99 mod or risking the double pull latch not opening properly.
