I used the original mounting tape and installed about 3 months ago. They are sticking fine. I did mount mine backwards but it doesn’t seem to matter.

Hello, I just installed the Maxzina door sill protectors and I am very happy with the product. The fit and finish was perfect it covered the highly scratchable interior door sill and the option for the matching exterior door sill coverage was welcomed. I appreciate the products that serve a purpose protecting areas of the interior and exterior and can't imagine if the aftermarket companies did not offer these great products. They allow us to decide what we feel is important about a product like in this case protection of the interior exterior while they also offer many products that enhance the look of your truck. I am looking forward to the lower door kick panel protectors coming out soon. Thank you to Maxzina and the other aftermarket companies, keep on innovating. Thank you for picking up where the manufacture left off or in some cases improving upon. Your truck your choice.

I used only the supplied tape, the key is the prep. I put isopropyl on a microfiber cloth and cleaned it real good then I used the supplied adhesion wipes. I also did it on a hot day it stuck on real good.

It also helps too take a couple passes with a blow dryer to warm up the trucks plastic trim after prep and before the final stick…

I chose the Maxzina ones over other ones because they were a little “cushiony” and added a little extra protection.

Looks great, about $40 on Amazon is what I see for price.
Is that where you got yours?

They are $60 for the inner and outer, I paid a little less since I purchased them on Prime day. They are worth the price as they serve a purpose.

So do you feel the inner ones are necessary as they cover what looks like another piece of plastic( can’t look at mine as it’s not being built for 2 more weeks then of course shipped to the dealer for me to pick up)?

Inner is absolutely needed the plastic in the interior of the maverick scratches if you look at it wrong. Some people don't mind that, I do and I am trying to avoid it whenever possible.

Got my inner sill’s installed this past weekend. Ended going to autozone and grabbing more 3M 1/2” molding tape to sure up the inner sill protectors. Overall I’m happy with them. The flashing could be cleaned up a bit, but for 30$ or so not too bad.

These look nice.

I just watched the video of the installation. I also just last week changed out my rear stereo speakers.

If you plan on replacing your rear speakers it appears that should be done before installing the rear inner sill protectors. The factory piece they stick to needs to come out to do the speaker swap.

Just a heads up.
