Either one of those harnesses look great and would be 10 times better than using t-taps or any style of tap connector.

While they're not what I consider cheap you're paying for somebody else to do the work and the cost of the OEM harness connectors.

Thanks for posting the links, I may get the raptor guy harness on eBay as I just recently purchased the lens covers for the fender badges also plan on painting my fender badges.
Making my own harness is the plan personally, the problem I was running into was sourcing the plugs themselves. Particularly the female end

Definitely not cheap - but yes - you are paying for someone's time, research, skill, etc. If I spent the time I'm sure I could figure out a mating plug and the right pins and then put one together -- but it might be just worth the $50.

Realistically, the only thing I would do different is also tap into the ground wire. That's a personal preference - could go either way. Would like to know how he tapped into the power (under the loom), but based on having the correct parts, I'm assuming it is also done well.

On the lariat The wiring is different between the headlights. The 3 plug is standard though the other female side is what I've had trouble finding.

Like this mod & am looking forward to doing it to my 2025 when I get it.
Wonder what the wire colors will be for the XLT?
We shall find out next year about March or April.
You'll find it's a pretty simple modification. Nothing but air behind the OEM vent badge and a straight run to wire up to the signal lamps. You are welcome to DM me when/if you need more info. As for the wiring on the '25, it remains to be seen.

Well I've joined the Dad club and have the orange side badge blinkers now too. Thanks for the idea and tips.
The “Dad Club”! That’s priceless! Thank you for the honor. You are most welcome. Hope install went smoothly.

Super smooth and it turned out great.
Glad to hear that. Not only was it relatively easy to set up, I feel a lot better knowing my turn signal can be seen from the side.

When I contacted him in the past he said that he will make a harness that connects into the OEM ground. But also suggest directly going to a OEM ground point is best.

I’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who’s shared information in this thread over the last couple of years. This was the first mod I ever wanted to do on my truck (I bought the LED modules before the truck even shipped). I’ve had the Maverick for a year and a half now, finally got around to it. Very grateful for all of the links shared here, especially the turn signal plug connector from eBay. I’m glad I didn’t have to splice directly into OEM wiring.

There are plenty of alternate options included in this thread, such as versions with different LED locations, or frosted enclosures. If you’d like quick access to what I used without going through the entire thread, here are a list of links to each product:

Oznium LED Module — straight black option with amber LEDs

Turn signal plug connector — using this plug-n-play wiring harness eliminates the need for splicing directly into the OEM wiring.

16 gauge wire — you could probably use 20/22 gauge though

Automotive electrical tape — don’t use traditional plastic electrical tape, it can melt

Wire connector kit

New guy here; I bought my '24 Lariat Hybrid yesterday but I've been lurking around on here for a few days to see what's going on in the Mav world. I want to really thank you for starting this thread, this type of little project is right up my alley and I have already lined up my parts and thought through my plans in preparation.

The '75 BMW R90/6 I just finished up got similar LEDs so I know what I''ll be working with to get this going.
