Gents, I will be on a trip for one week and the car will be at a hotel underground parking lot. The ambient temp will be in the 20s.
All previous trips have been during minimum 40 degree temps, and maximum 4 days gone.
The car is routinely driven 30 miles a day during the week, 10 per day on the weekend.

Is it recommended to disconnect the battery located under the rear seat, and reconnect upon return? What's the worst that can happen if I do this?

Apologies for the ignorant question. Thank you.

Why not carry a boost pack just in case for any situation? That way you don’t have to mess with disconnecting the battery cables or risk looking for a boost from another vehicle.

My eco boost sat for the past week over Christmas and started up with zero issues.

Would be nice if ford pass would report voltage and a warning prior to going into sleep mode. That way you could remotely start for five minutes or so to refresh battery. Just thinking

I left my hybrid parked for a week and the only thing that happened was that the Ford Pass said something about going into 'Deep Sleep Mode' so some remote features won't work through the app but I think it saved the battery so you can start it when you return.
When I got back it started up fine however I'm not parking in low temperatures like you.

here's another thread on the same question:

Worst thing would probably be battery saver or deep sleep mode. But the Hybrid should start up because it doesn't use the 12v battery for that, although a small amount of 12v is used to operate the HV relays. The truck will not let the HV battery drop below a certain charge, even when not driven for (over) a week.

+1 on the jump box. You should keep one under the seat anyway. I've had one since before I owned the Maverick. I've never needed it, but have used it to jump friends' & other's vehicles. Much safer than trying to line up two vehicles to use jumper cables. And just safer to use. The newer ones are pretty much idiot proof to use.

Fordpass is too busy collecting your personal data, driving habits etc. to bother checking your voltage!

I wouldn't disconnect the battery My 2019 explorer Platinum sits for months without driving, and has no issues starting right up.

I do use a battery tender on it about once a month for 48 hours to keep the battery topped off.

I work out of town 1 week on and 1 week off. I always leave my hybrid parked in long term parking every week with no issues.

A booster pack is in all my cars, truck and motorcycles. Todays batteries DO Not warn you when they are dieing! Amazon often has deals on them.

NOTE: Make sure it will start your size engine or larger.

A few months ago I was on vacation and left the the Mav home and it went into sleep battery mode after 5 days. Upon returning, it started up with no issues. Last month I again left the Mav for 17 days, but I had connected a battery tender before leaving. After 5 days it also went into sleep mode. I thought the 12 volt battery was the one that went into sleep mode. Apparently not.
