I would rather buy a OBD2 port dongle and use forscan if you already have a laptop all you need is a OBD port dongle. Plus you can change and add so many other things. I purchased my obd mx link Bluetooth dongle for 60.00 in 2012 and have used it on 5 different vehicles, paid for itself 10x over

I would hate to have to remove that and reinstall it every trip to the dealer and worry that if they find it they may say it would void the warranty.

I have one that was installed almost two years ago. No issues other than getting the OBD port connections made on the back in the tight space. What is nice about this is the button is still functional to turn the feature on/off.

Yes. First “mod” I bothered with. Expensive but works great if you can’t or won’t use Forscan to disable A/S/S.

I have this and it works as advertised, installed before I learned of forscan. It is a little bit of a pain to install because of the location. It's nearly impossible to get 2 hands on it and look at it at the same time. I managed it one handed. You may be able to set up your phone camera on the floorboard or something. I'm not worried about the dealer seeing it or voiding warranty or anything. It makes no actual change to the vehicle, it just retains the setting and sends the button push signal to the computer on startup. Every time you start the truck it will briefly display the "Auto start/stop disabled by button" message.

this is what makes it different and better than using Forscan. (I've done both and currently my autostop eliminator is not installed.)

if you turn it off forscan it's non functional. pressing the button does not turn it on.

whereas the autostop eliminator will return to normal function if you push the button and stay on until you the button again. because of this I haven't sold mine yet but I probably will.

question? Do you have to buy the subscription version of ForScan to make changes? They stopped selling the subscription to ForScan this month because of Russian sanctions. I’m also wondering if the free version will allow me the ability to add the speed warnings to my 24 Maverick Lariat

All that's needed is the free version.

But it doesn't change anything on the vehicle so how can it void a warranty?

Do all the Mavs not come with the button on the console to stop this feature? If not I get the need to want the eliminator, and I may be in the minority here but I’ll save my 100 bucks and just hit the button when I get in. To each their own though 👌🏼
