Yes, your dealer will honor the original MSRP.
My experience was different. The dealer refused to accept the original price that I had signed for. Gave me some excuse that the dealership had to pay Ford whatever price was at time of delivery. In my case, it was also a $400 increase if I remembered correctly. Each trim went up $300 and delivery went up $100. Couldn't get anywhere with the sales manager, so I got to speak to the general manger. He told me the same thing about how they had no control over Ford's price increases. I told him that I was a part of this forum and that what he said was true, but that the dealership gets reimbursed by Ford for the price increase due to the signed buyer's form. He then no longer tried to convince me of what he was saying and basically told me that it was my right to just walk away because they would just sell the truck to someone else who was willing to pay the price increase. So, it really just depends on the dealer.
I am so sorry about your dealings with this stealership....oh I meant dealership. I hope you are able to go to another dealership for future servicing of your Maverick. They do not deserve your business!
They didn't budge on the price increase but did agree to not doing the normal dealer add-ons (tint, door edge guards, and paint/interior protectant) which was normally $1000.
Dealers can do what they want which is a shame. What is funny is that the protection protection reimburse adjustment is now on the invoice so they can see that amount. Sorry you had to deal with that.

I thought the price protection only included the $100 MSRP price increase, but not the trailer features. So only $100 would be protected?
Pretty easy, whatever the price was on your order sheet. Job 2 production hasn't started so no one would see a $300 up charge on a window sticker yet. But those that ordered before Job 2 order bank would see an increase that isn't price protected. Should be pretty rare to see since most of the job 1 Lariat orders were scheduled for Job 1 production dates.
I ordered just a couple of days before job open3d--and got a 2/3 build date.
It should be a job 2.
