Price Protection - 15 Dec 2023 Price Increase

Today my window sticker became available. I ordered at XL Hybrid with Drop in Bedliner and Trailer Hitch. The initial order was in mid 2022 (for a MY 2023) and rolled over to a MY 2024.

The MSRP on the sticker is $27385. Base price $23815, options $1975, Destination $1595.

Previously I read where the $415 price increase on Dec 15, 2023 would not effect Mavericks ordered prior to that date. However, the MSRP on the sticker reflects the price which includes the 12/15/23 price increase.

My question is should the price I pay when I get the truck be based on the pre 12/15/23 price?

I'd argue with the sales manager about it, but you'll probably end up eating that.

The window sticker price always represents the MSRP on the day that the truck was built. Any price protection, plan pricing, etc. is unrelated to that price displayed. It is a legally required document to inform any purchaser of the MSRP of that specific vehicle in its configuration as and when it was built. It does not affect price protection.

You can call Ford customer service and ask for your private offer. Any rollover order from MY23 to MY24 will get a discount certificate from Ford.

I just brought my original order sheet, they crossed out the sticker price and charged me the original order price. No hassle.
