Love that Eruption Green color!!
Maybe it's an old wives tale. But many times in my 75 years with 60 driving.. I've heard buy a green car and it will be hit.

Likewise red and yellow are more likely to be stopped by police..

Few years ago 2 guys at work had green ford rangers and both go hit, not their fault..

My 1980 Ford Econoline van was green and I was hit so hard in the drivers front head light, by a drunk woman in a FORD Escort, who turned left in front of me while I was doing 55, an almost head on. She popped the rear van doors open to where you could not close them again. She shattered my left femur and knee. tore the engine out of her escort the escort battery was 60-80 feet down the road where I came to a stop in the ditch.. She walked away.. Trooper told me she had 7 accidents in 6 years. That was in Lorraine, Ohio..

I changed to Eruption Green! While I like the Desert Sand in person I do wish it was darker, I feel it shows up lighter on camera too. I know there will be alot of greens on the road but that’s ok I dig it.

Every time I see Desert Sand it reminds me of Mayo....

Definitely an old wives tale...I been hit several times (been driving 50 years) and never owned a green car. I have ordered a 25 Maverick in Eruption Green because green is my favorite color!

It doesn't seem like yellow is much of a deterrent either.

In late August, I was rear-ended while sitting at a stoplight. I wasn't hurt, but the crumple zones did their jobs and sacrificed themselves. I got notified that it was totaled last week. 8900 miles. Once the insurance wrangling is done, it's off to Dovi Motors in Cortland, NY to order a '25. I only wish that Cyber Orange was still available!

The green is nice. The tan/desert one...I feel like it should be darker.

And, of course, the Velocity Blue is the best. 😉

Dear Mazda, please cut a deal with Ford so that you can sell a Maverick variant in Mica Soul Red and with a Mazda interior...

When I first “discovered” the Maverick, I really liked the Area 51. I still dig it but since then have seen them out in the wild and they really tend to blend in with the pavement somewhat. I actually accidentally went out of turn on a four way when one was there because I didn’t see it 😄

I also thought this way too, saw this guys little video and the azure kinda matches the interior blue, atleast it doesn’t clash as if the truck was red or something—- but I also like the desert color, to me it’s azure, desert and eruption the 3 best colors to me if I had to pick any I’d be happy

oh yeah, this guys one happy guy.

Why can't people do a video without using the "picket fence peek-a-boo" style?

I do understand landscape versus portrait. I agree shooting in landscape is nicer to view.
For me it's easier to hold the the phone vertical then horizontal.
Especially if I'm demonstrating something with the other hand or pointing to something.

For one-handed video recording with a phone, holding it vertically is generally easier to manage as it naturally fits in the palm of your hand and is more comfortable to grip with a single hand

Looks like the Desert Sand is a Lariat, the rest are XLT.

Thanks Glen,

When I video, whether I hold it horizontally or vertically it plays back with the entire screen filled in. It isn't shrunk down to a thin slice. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Good Morning,

New guy posting here, first time posting. This site has been super helpful in making decision to buy a Maverick. I have a 2025 on order and was struggling with the color I chose. I texted my salesman if it was not to late to change. He said come on by we just got some in with several different colors so I thought I would share a few pictures incase anyone else is having trouble selecting a color. Cloudy drizzling day yesterday so hopefully the sun will shine today so I can swing by and see them in the sunlight.

I still like the headlights & grill on the 22-24 better, but this is growing on my, can't wait to see one and the new interior stuff in person. I think with the new grill/headlights/"upper bumper" piece that black is the best looking color b/c it doesn't stick out as much. Interested to see if someone is going to paint that upper bumper piece black on their non-black truck to see what that looks like. Similar things are done with other models (Ranger XLT and Lariat variants come to mind). I think this would look good on the Mavericks too.
