I had a 16 super duty xlt. Not many luxuries . I loaded up the maverick on my order. No regrets. I love the heated steering wheel and wiper park. Game changer in the new England winter. We've been lucky this year. Unseasonably warm but now it cooling down to normal winter temps.

I could never go back from having a heated steering wheel. The heated seats/wheel are way nicer than my Subarus were.

Yes, both features are nice. Especially the heated seats. They heat quickly and become hot. They are much better than luxury vehicles I have owned.

GAME CHANGER for sure! This is the first time I splurged on luxury. I had my Honda Element for 17 years. It was an EX but that vehicle didn't have a lot of luxury, especially when it came to anything heated. It took a long time to heat up that huge cabin too

my last car was a VW golf and I absolutely LOVE the heated steering wheel. I wish the heated seats were split (bottom and back with separate controls). Way back in the day, i had a GMC Envoy and they had the split heated seats as an option. I would keep the back on, but turn off the seat bottom - it would get way to hot.

I am 58, my 2012 Focus had headed seats but I do like having the heated steering wheel. Ford has the hottest seats of any car I have been in.

Once you get the heated seats and steering wheel, you can never go back. When I ordered my first Maverick back in September 2021, this was my first vehicle with such features. Not only that, this truck had a first for a lot of things for me: heated seats/steering wheel, blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross traffic alert with parking sensors, LED headlights, smart key with remote start and push button start. It's a better state of mind having these features, though some may not be necessary, but they're nice once you have them. As a result, the Maverick is the best vehicle I've ever had.

Same here in NE Indiana - it was 16 degrees this morning and my seat and wheel were toasty.
However my Fusion Titanium Hybrid had these and AC seats. Never really used the AC Seats except to cool them off before getting in the car.

Once you have a taste, it's hard to go back to not having all the bells and whistles.

I love the heated seats and the heated steering wheel. I take the dog to the dog park and it's been 15 to 20° where I live, so we run around for 20 minutes or so and then I remote start the car so by the time we walk back to the car it's blowing heat, the steering wheels warm and so are the seats. Usually, when I would drive my Camry I would have to get in the cold car start it and then wear gloves cuz it's steering wheel was cold.

I'm loving all of it! The adaptive cruise control and lane steering is second to none. It assists the truck the same as if I were manually making the decisions. I compare it to my wife's 2017 Honda Pilot, which brakes too late (and too hard) and can't negotiate many of the lane adjustments depending on speed and curvature. My Maverick is spot on and a good basis for how future self-driving should be...
