Yes. And it's apparently gotten worse because I drove it for a half hour 9 hours ago and the lights didn't come on just now. That's ridiculous.A quick question. Is your battery an AGM?

It's not a battery problem. It's an intermittent drain that Ford has acknowledged. Mine has been fine then all the sudden got deep sleep notification after a decent drive !I've heard so many people talk about the 12V battery issue with their Maverick so I wanted to share my results.
I drove to the airport and left my 2024 Hybrid Maverick parked their for 7 days. When I returned, I unlocked it and it started up with no problems. The only difference I noticed was the MPG for the trip home was 33.9 whereas my avg is 46.9 and this trip would have been about 45 MPG given it was mostly highway with no traffic. I believe the reason for lower MPG was due to the gas engine running throughout the trip home to recharge both the Hybrid and 12V battery given that it was parked for a week.
All in all, I can say that if you have a good battery, you shouldn't have any problems with your Maverick being parked for days. All of this talk about keeping the 12V battery charged while the vehicle is parked for days is overhyped. If the battery is good, it should be just fine. I received my Maverick in Dec of 2023, and never had any issues with my battery and never need to replace it. Those who did, probably had a faulty battery installed during production.
My trip home was 21 miles and it took me about 25 mins to get home. It was midnight and the temp was about 20 degrees. Mostly highway with no traffic. Thanks for the info. I just guessed the lower MPG on the trip home was due to the HV and 12V battery being charged because I usually get between 44-50 MPG per trip to and from work everyday. It’s a 20 mile drive equally shared 10 highway and 10 city with stop and go traffic. The lower MPG on the return trip was due to colder temperatures, headwinds, higher speed, or a combination of all three.
It was NOT due to the status of your HV battery or 12 volt battery.
I am 100% sure.
The HV battery is SMALL. Very small.
The 12 volt battery is small too.
You did not say how long your trip home was, but I promise you, with certainty, your HV battery is fully recharged in the first 3 to 4 minutes of engine run time. (I have a ScanGauge and this charging process is consistent, over hundreds of cycles.)
I your trip home was less then 4 minutes, then I'm willing to entertain your wild theory.
Second, while the 12v battery does lose charge while just sitting, it takes a TRIVIAL amount of energy to recharge it, and it usually recharges very slowly over HOURS.
In reality, it takes trivial gasoline to recharge either, or both batteries. Too small to notice. Unless you did a really short, 2 mile / 4 minute trip. Then you MAY notice a low "trip" MPG, but your overall tank MPG would be immeasurably affected.

Thx for sharing. I think this site has alot of complainers lol. Almost 3 years with our maverick and no issues, other than 2 softwear recalls.I've heard so many people talk about the 12V battery issue with their Maverick so I wanted to share my results.

I don't think there is a problem. My truck will be 3 years old in March, and does exactly what your truck is doing. It goes into sleep mode, and shuts down things that will drain the 12 volt battery, but retains power to start when I hit the start button. (Lariat) All the items that shut down turn back on without any problems. That's the way Ford designed it to work.My ‘22 hybrid has always started and only the driver side door unlocks by grabbing the door handle. Passenger side door doesn’t open when in deep sleep mode when you grab the handle, and interior dome lights don’t work.
Question: if I delete Ford app from my phone, will this solve the problem?
Thanks!
My truck, when not in 'deep sleep mode', will turn on the interior dome light when I open the door, that's the way it's suppose to work. You should never have to get into a 'dark' vehicle and have the lights turn on 'after' you hit the start button.I don't think there is a problem. Who cares! I paid for a vehicle for a purpose not for a failure and inconvenience. I have a 2024 and 6months in it started the battery BS. Dome lights first so I can't see the freaking key at night. Now radio doesn't work when stopping and sitting for a minute before work! Recently now key fob doesn't always work, so I manually open doors. I have been watching battery voltage and it has slowly been going down closer to 11 volts. It is slowly being destroyed and sulfate. They have had years to figure this out in the Escape. I'll be damned if I have to drive the vehicle at high speeds to " refresh "/ charge the battery or trickle charge when I drive almost everyday. I've been bringing it back to the dealer every 2 weeks. I will cost them time and money. This is what everyone should be doing. Built Ford TERD.I am like....who cares????????? As long as the truck starts up faithfully every time, regardless of how long it could be sitting all by its lonesome self. If the app wants to tell me its in deep sleep, fine...I can still start up using the key fob. As always, the truck takes me wherever I need to go.
It’s believed that the modem continues to communicate over the Internet. There may be some other things going on in the background as well, but I’m not sure of.Why would the hybrid battery drain that much in just a week though? That doesn't seem quite right. I know with my Prius I've parked if for over a week and have never noticed any appreciable drain on the traction battery.
I could see that draining the 12v battery, but not the traction battery. It’s believed that the modem continues to communicate over the Internet. There may be some other things going on in the background as well, but I’m not sure of.
Correct. But, when my truck is not in 'deep sleep mode', you can grab the passenger door handle and it will unlock if you have the key fob on your person. When my truck is in 'deep sleep mode' then I must use the key fob and unlock my truck if I want to access the passenger side door to open.RE: Only driver's door unlocks = I believe that is the default setting for safety - the other doors remain locked so someone lurking, a car jacker, can't get in when you unlock the door.
I know on my other vehicles I can change the setting regarding which doors remain locked when you use the proximity touch feature. Look for this in the owner's manual.
