Seems that a lot of people here get their news from here, Reddit, and Facebook. If you checked the real news, you would find that the NHTSA just hit Ford with 165 million in fines and consent degrees. Included in this is the backup camera problem, which I think stops delivery untill it is cured. In one article I read the slow response to the battery problems were mentioned. Google Ford/fines.

They know there's problems with the axels, and 12 volt battery, but they hope they won't be forced to do anything about it! We will see when the 2025's models start commenting if they still have rattles, and other things we mentioned in this forum.
I had none of those issues on my late 2023 build.

Almost as much as Farley's bonus for doing such a bang up job.

Generally speaking, yes. It does take a while to identify issues, their cause, and a solution.

With new model years also comes new issues. Part suppliers change, assembly line issues arise, fixes causing new issues, etc.
100% correct

If you’ve read the article, and you are claiming people on MTC get their information from the forums or Reddit…..

post the link.

To be accurate, the fines are in response to a similar 2020 recall on backup cameras, and not directly related to the Maverick's backup camera recall.

2024 Maverick production ended Friday, November 8th. 2025 production started Monday November 11th. Ford took two whole days to resolve their issues.

Ford has known about the back up camera recall since September. Still no fix. Ford continued to build 2024 Mavericks right up till November 8th.

Because that’s how production works. It’s going to be resolved with a software update.

Lol. No that's not how it's done with other automakers. In my 30 years, I NEVER saw a "refreshed" or "redesigned vehicle" that started with only two days break between model years.

I forgot you’re the authority on all things Ford production.

First off you didn’t even respond to your post which was about how they produced vehicles after a known camera recall and defect.

They don’t stop production they will keep producing.

Regardless youu have absolutely no idea how Hermosillo transitioned the plant in the days and weeks leading up to the 2025 changeover.

A little common sense would tell you that any refresh or redesign would result in changes to the assembly line or process.
No, smart ass I'm not an expert. But if you're building 2024's on Friday and the following Monday you're building 2025's that tells me there was very little changeover at all.

Expect the dash/a pillar rattle to persist
I don't have the dash/a pillar rattle present in my mY2024 and that his despite using it on gravel washboard roads in Mexico on occasion.

I do have the creaky rear seat back (fixed with a part... I just have to take my truck in for the new latching mechanism).

They know there's problems with the axels
MY25 is using a redesigned CV axle. Supposedly it is the same CV axle that is in the Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid and is stronger so that it can support AWD in the hybrid Maverick models.

New infotainment for the maverick....will likely have some bugs.
It isn't new. Sync4 has been in other Ford vehicles for years now. The existing infotainment recall only affects the XL/XLT trims of previous years that run the proprietary infotainment that the Maverick has on the lower-end trims. The Lariat is not affected because it runs Sync3, which is not affected by the current infotainment recall regarding frozen back-up cameras.

Ford has known about the back up camera recall since September. Still no fix. Ford continued to build 2024 Mavericks right up till November 8th.
They aren't going to stop production just because of a recall. Anything produced will just get fixed the same as all the other models currently on the road. Stopping production would just make them lose more money.

That says absolutely nothing.

Do you know how many 24s were produced in the final week of production? Was it maximum capacity for the plant and lines?

What about the first week of production for MY25? Maximum capacity for the plant and lines?

You act like the entire plant is one giant machine that they turn off by pulling one plug out of a massive outlet.

Transition across lines for a vehicle refresh where 95%+ of the assembly process doesn’t change can happen efficiently with little to no plant downtime.

I know. I l know - in your 30 years….

But it’s possible and routine, I promise!
