4 hours, 47 mph over that time, which if you stopped and started here and there a few times is basically highway speeds around 50-55 mph or so, prime speed for mpg. Florida so it's sea level and 60 degrees, warm enough you aren't losing efficiency from the cold and cool enough your AC isn't sucking power.

Yeah, that's pretty doable. I'll get low to mid 30's on the highway with limited stops on a drive.

I'm getting a lifetime average of 24 mpg. Mostly city driving, but the occasional long road trip a few times a year. the road trips are usually around 30 depending on how fast I'm driving.

I consistently get from the low 30’s to mid 30’s on the highway and high 20’s around town. I can’t complain at all 👍. Highest I ever got was 36mpg on highway using cruise control and keeping speed reasonable.

Just did a round trip to Maine: 2.0 Ecoboost with ~12,300 miles on it, eight (8) months old, XL, 2WD. Achieved as high as 38 m.p.g., trip averaged 36.2 m.p.g. Truck has averaged 31.3 m.p.g. since purchased, always driven in ECO mode.

I'd say that's about average. Considering the highway rating is between 29-30 mpg, depending on drivetrain, that's the best you're gonna get. The highest I've gotten it to was 32 and some change. In-town driving is around 24-25. What doesn't help in my case is the FX4 package with AWD. It robs some fuel economy.

Don't trust the computer unless you have adjusted the AFE bias. My best is around 30, and my overall average is 29.3. I also check my mpg at the pump.

You get the same as me. Lariat fx4 4K tow. It is still better than my dually or crown vics. Weifemates Edge gets the same as the Maverick does.

Two years, average has never varied more than a tenth from 28.6. 2,000 feet elevation, 89 octane gasoline, mixed hills and rolling terrain in WNC.

I have never averaged 31.9 for a whole tank, but I've had some trips on 2 lane highways around 65-70 and gotten near that.

Lifetime for my truck on the Michelins was 26.2. Then I did some light towing, trips with 3 bikes on a hitch rack at interstate speeds, and tuned my truck. My new norm is 22, lol.
