Yup,if I can avoid going to the dealer for this fix it would be cool.

Is that part of the dampener for the glove box? It's on the right side of the glove box and looks like a small door closer. . .
I ask because it is about the right diameter for the piston part . . . maybe a cap of something for it.

Not sure where it goes, box was stuck,then this was found on the floor..

I wonder if it will work when the battery is in saver mode. Courtesy lights don't.

I put a motion sensor PUCK LIGHT in my glove box. I just stuck it to the left side of the box .It works just fine , it comes on when I open the box. The golve box doesn't get used that frequently . Got a 4pk. on Amazon for $10.00 . I attached the other three lights to the underside on my tri -fold bed cover , two , back by the tailgate and one in the middle section, again not a lot of action in the bed . Let me be the first to comment .THAT IS WHAT SHE SAID .

I'd like to do the same thing by adding a light in the glove box as well as the console and adding footwell lights. Does anybody know what color the dome light wiring is for Positive and Ground, and if it can be easily accessed near the passenger footwell? TIA

Good call ford ,heaven forbid the glove box door should suddenly pop open and crash into the passengers knees,it would shatter them. I say this jokingly of coarse . But Really ? We're not talking about a premium/luxury vehicle , ITs a truck.
