Behind Rear Seat DIY Light Install

I am the type of person that likes to keep the very bright overhead interior lights off as much as possible. Just because I find they ruin ones night vision just before exiting the vehicle. Because of that I have been adding less bright lighting in critical areas using the DIY glove box light as a blueprint.

The light output is better than it appears in the picture. It would be sufficient to remove the jack in the dark on the side of the road without ruining my night vision.


I also added underseat storage lights using the KIA/Hyundai switch and Ford Expedition cargo lights. I can provide more pictures and part #s if anyone is interested.

Hyundai glove box switch 93510-21000

Ford OEM cargo light P2SZ13776A

TE Connectivty 2138557-1 connectors x2 and associated female pins x4

OR Ford pigtail WPT-1412

3.5 mm female spade terminals x2

20gauge automotive wire and TESSA tape for harness
