This is one of the trucks that came with my employers purchase of a legacy towing company a few years ago.

The original owner of this F600 built this bumper 50 years ago... should be good for a daily driver in traffic...

May have to fab a couple new bumper brackets to fit the Maverick

Oh yeah! And a DMI hitch for the back to balance things out. We had a DMI like this one on a F-250 farm truck. No one tailgates a DMI hitch.

You may need a lift kit to keep it from scraping on the ground!

I would expect a serious loss in MPG

Is the plan to push other vehicles out of the way? I just don't see the Maverick having that capability as much as a full-sized truck.

I will point out that an F600 with one of these bumpers can easily push a highway guardrail, if you need it to move for some reason.....

Edit: Intentionally move it, that is.

I had a buddy with an 80's Toyota pickup years ago in rural Colorado. He added heavy duty leaf springs (90% sure that's what it was, he beefed up the suspension) and put on this beast of a steel pipe as a bumper that he filled with concrete. He'd use it to drive around at night looking for deer to hit and get a roadkill tag for.

Maybe this person just wants to feed the fam lol

I installed dozens of those at the Ford store in the 90's...amazing improvement when towing.

I built my own front bumper for my '95 Peterbilt after smoking a yellow post hiding in plain site in a parking lot.

Used 7 gadgets flay stock. Had my local machine shop shear the steel to size so all I had to do was weld it up...

I would weld on a few iron anvils so that it has plenty of "road hugging weight". Hint, you have to be a certain advanced age to get that reference.

I only saw those on rear ends. What I want to know is, who can afford an anvil?
