Will the dealer charge me over MSRP

Hello y’all. I ordered my 2025 XL Hybrid AWD. Got an email a few day ago stating that the build is scheduled for December 11th. Can the dealer charge me over MSRP since I ordered it? And if they can is there a limit?

If they do, tell them to take a hike. They can't force you to pay over MSRP. I don't think there are very many dealers left price-gouging the Mavericks since supply has finally caught up with demand, but I suppose the '25 model year may re-ignite that practice among some. I just got a '24 model for $2000 under MSRP a couple of weeks ago, for what it's worth.

Damn, I can’t believe the price differences in U.S. and Canada! You friends pay a lot less for my loaded 24 XLT FX4 than I did! But then again we pay with monopoly money.

To tell you the truth I didn’t receive a contract. The dealer sent me a link I did a 500 dollar deposit, he sent my build in. Got a confirmation from ford and that’s about it.

I wouldn't pay a penny over list for any new truck or car. I bought my truck last month and got $2742 off list and only a $148 DOC fee.

The reason I waited for the 2025 is for a Hybrid awd. I drive around 50k miles a year. During winter I need it to be awd.

Mike, I suggest you head to your dealer and talk about the order. Get pricing in writing, make sure there will be no dealer add-ons once your truck arrives. If they will not commit, start the conversation about canceling your order. Unfortunately, loosing $500 now may save you more later on.
