Gator SRX Soft Roll Up Tonneau Cover Installed

Ordered on Sunday, installed Wednesday. It was on sale for $50 off (no additional discount available). I really wanted a hard rollup, but that's not in my price range now. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it fit. Nice and flat, and low profile as well. Good product, delivered quickly.

Edit: Took me about 45 minutes to install. A ratchet was the only tool required.

I was given the Ford soft roll up to know as a gift after I got my Mav. I'm liking how that one lays on the bed. It doesn't cover up the top of the side rails

that looks great! I have the same one however I didn't install it and it is no where near as taught as yours, it sags between the supports. Looks like I need to go back and see if I can adjust it!

Nice! I have the tri fold gator and its been great but I have been looking at that one so I don't need to take it off when needing the full bed.

Installation wasn't as straight forward as I would have liked. I stalled briefly on the C-Clamps and horizontal positioning of the rails. The tension is definitely the part most prone to trouble. Written instructions for the proper positioning and adjustment of the two tension blocks is not bad, but you should definitely instead refer to their video tutorial which should be more heavily highlighted in their documentation. I've pasted a link below. Once you've seen it, it will immediately "click" for you. I have mine adjusted to position "4" which is the tightest.



The topic of the tension block installation and how they work begins at about 4:10, but I recommend watching the whole video, and it offers good advice all around, including the cover install itself (spoiler: don't tighten those retaining bolts all the way. And you can absolutely go back in there and make post install adjustments.

Yeah, exactly why I got the rollup. I had a soft tri-fold on an old Ranger and hated that I couldn't use the full bed without removal.

Do you now have vibrating type noise now have the same one and when bed is covered i have a noise when cover is rolled up doesn't make then noise.

I haven't had it long enough for a confident answer, but I didn't notice anything yesterday when driving about 80 miles. Highest speed was a bit under 65mph if that's helpful.

If I ever figure it out will post on here. Must change aerodynamics of truck when bed is covered and makes something vibrate sounds. Like it is in back seat near the back window.

Have had this Gator SRX tri-fold on my Maverick 2 years 10 months. Zero water leaks, zero wind noise, but on dirt road a little dust gets in. My next Maverick will get the same folding tonneau.
