I've combed through all the threads I could, and all seemed to just talk about what o offset means. Has anyone found a reliable source for negative offset rims?
I don't want drastic offset, just within the -12 to-25 range. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Your wheels sticking out roughly 2.-2.44 inches on a fwd vehicle is pretty drastic and likely why you can’t find any. Then there’s the extra stress on suspension parts and turning.
Are you looking for a certain style or look. You might try find a rwd wheel in the same bolt pattern see if it clears the brakes although I don’t recommend it. A friend of mine had some Mustang wheels on his Kia Soul for a while and without any issues though.

Since the Maverick is a +37.5 mm offset, a -12 offset will move the wheel out 0.47 inches on a wheel of the same width. I suggest using this site to judge the effect of new wheel specs before buying them. A wider wheel will potentially add to the offset effect.

To the best of my knowledge, you won't find any negative offset wheels (off the shelf) since the bolt pattern on our trucks has only been used on front wheel drive vehicle platforms, and they all use high-positive offset wheels. If there were never any RWD vehicles with the 5x108 bolt pattern, there are not going to be any wheels for those non-existant vehicles. You could have wheels custom made however; American Racing is one source I know of. Also Team III (ET Mags) will make almost anything. At a price, of course.

That's kind of the reason I'm asking, I don't want them sticking out to far. Maybe like a half an inch to an inch. I was hoping someone else had already found something. I did come across Custom Offsets, but don't like the choices, and really don't want to bump my rims to 20's.

You'll need something like an offset in the +10's. Since your new to offset and just in case your thinking about it, negative offset doesn't mean your tires/wheels stick outside beyond the fenders.

You really think going to a - offset won't make the wheels stick out on a Maverick? Stock is +37mm. Even going to a +10mm as you suggest (about an inch less) they will be out past the fenders by a little. Start getting into the - category and they will absolutely be sticking out. It's basic mathematics.

Thank you, that's the type of info I need. So what would you say I'm looking for if I only want to extend out a half an inch more?

it's way more than 1/2"

Relative vs. absolute?

-12 relative to the stock +37.5mm = +25mm
-25 relative to the stock +37.5mm = +12.5mm

If you are talking absolute numbers,
any negative offset would be drastic and you stated you don't want "drastic".

Are you sure it's the offset you're going for? Or a certain look?
You can adjust the look by wider wheels and/or tires (in addition to offset).
You can also use adapters/spacers as some other folks have.

Most aftermarket wheel offsets can be adjusted (custom).
My own aftermarket wheels are staggered offsets - same wheels ..
Fronts are +45, rears +30 (absolute numbers - not relative to stock 37.5mm).

Your example is correct if he wants -12 to -25 as the actual offset. I read it as he wants to move the offset 12-25mm in a negative direction, which would be .47 inch to just shy of 1" toward the wheel opening.

Look at the above photos by mdl20813 with a +20mm offset. You need them to stick out more than that? You'll get another 3/8" if you go to +10mm. If you go too far, you'll start tearing up wheel bearings, especially with bigger/heavier tires.
