I just finished doing the first oil change on my 2024 Maverick. As I was about to start, having already purchased the oil and filter, my wife asked why this wasn't a freebie. I must admit I didn't know what the dealer said about perqs with the purchase of this truck. Can someone enlighten me about what I'm missing out on. I only have about 1200 miles on the truck, but I wanted to do an oil change during its break-in. Thanks, Steve.

You should have received complimentary FordPass points with the purchase of the vehicle. Those points can be redeemed toward accessories or service.

Nothing directly from Ford, other than the FordPass points which is good for 1 or 2 oil changes.
My dealer does give a complimentary oil change with purchase, so that is up to your dealer.

😆better off to change your own oil, synthetic please! ( if that’s your thing)

Get a bed mat with ford points, $135. You get about $200 in points if I recall correctly

I got 42,000 Ford Pass points. They were good for the full set of Ford floor mats.

Be sure and check on them.

thanx. i'll need to check on those points. I hate leaving anything on the table for Ford., even if I do own 5 million shares of their stock. S
I believe you have 60 days after buying or leasing your Maverick to sign up for Ford Pass and receive your reward points.

I used my points for the first time last week for an oil change and used 10,388 points out of my original 42,000 points.
