Any Hybrid maverick has this ungodly noise issue?

I drove my Maverick hybrid since last week, but I heard this noise 4 times until now.
I couldn't hear this today. I am not sure which condition causes this noise.
This noise happened immediately after turning on my maverick. So I think ICE was off in that moment.
I pushed the AC button to off it and turned on the AC a few seconds later, then the noise was gone.

Anyone had the same issue on this forum?

I heard that same noise for the first time this week. It was hard to determine where it is coming from, and (like you) I am uncertain whether the engine was on or not at the time.

Yes.

That is the ELECTRIC air conditioner working at a really high, perhaps maximum setting.

The truck can override the dash settings if it wants to / needs to.

I did not have any work done.
I do not think anything is "wrong".
It has been fine with remarkably cold air for 2 years now.

Note this is a hybrid only thing.
Can not compare to other vehicles.

"Trust hybrid owners more than EcoBoost owners on this."

And then, only hybrid owners who have run the air conditioner at maximum setting with the key to run and engine off (and hood open) Because only those will hear this SAME SOUND.

Same here. AC compressor. Not worried about it.

Totally normal.

That noise is from the Electric AC compressor.

If you have the temp setting at maximum it can be noisy.

With the hood closed and the windows up I really don't notice it even with the radio off.

I have noticed it also. Sounds terrible but after reading other comments I believe it is normal for the hybrid model. I was standing next to truck in parking lot talking to buddies and started truck to cool it off, had setting on MAC/AC, it was so loud we couldn't chat anymore. Maybe FORD could confirm?

Hybrid Lariat - I do a manual shut down off all systems at the end of the journey. Audio off. Lights off [auto setting to off] HVAC off by manually pushing the control. When next you fire it up, what do you hear?

I have the Ecoboost so I believe the hybrid owners who say it's normal as they would know more than the Ecoboost owners. The only thing I have in common is at the end of the video it seems like when you dropped the hood it didn't latch and I have that problem quite often. And then I try to press it closed and it doesn't work so I have to open it again and raise it a little higher and then drop it to get out to latch. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Yep, A/C compressor. Unique to Hybrid. Compare it to your home A/C condenser unit scroll compressor which makes similar noises
