87 octane could be a factor for sure.

Bronco 2 door 2.7 probably is lighter than the Ranger 2.7, and the Bronco probably has more aggressive throttle mapping and transmission logic. (noticed that several years ago when first driving a Bronco, and it's been consistent.)

According to @The Real Maverick it stays between 35%-75% charge level.
Under normal driving conditions, a 35% minimum makes sense because it retains your “headroom”, if you should run into a taxing situation. In that taxing situation, like pulling max gcwr up Davis dam hill, the BMS should dip deep into that headroom and run the battery down to at least 10% if not all the way to zero. Even if the final kwh number is a little lower than my guesstimation, the battery should still be able to provide the motor with 21.3 kw for at least 2 minutes straight.

No.
It never ever does that.

It will not dip below 26% while running. Ever. And once the engine and catalytic converter is warm, it won't dip below 30%.

The only way to get it lower is to let it sit a long time and not run the truck, which is actually pretty harmful to the battery health.

The nominal usable battery power is:

30% to 70% or

0.40 x 1.1kWh or 0.44 kWh

Yes. A very small amount. It's for load leveling and recouping power from one or two stops. That's about it. Because after 1 or 2 stops most drivers have 1 or 2 "gos" that utilize that recouped power. 😎

P.S. my battery gets hot in stop n go traffic driving light- empty with no trailer. It stays whatever outside ambient temperature is while towing, on the highway, even uphill, because it is not used much at all in steady speed conditions. Sure, it will help if you press the pedal unusually close to the floor, but I generally don't.
