I use my 2024 Maverick Lariat with the 4K tow package & AWD to tow my 2024 Tahoe 200 S which weighs 3,295 with the trailer. That weight is before figuring in 35 gallons of fuel. My trip to the boat ramp is flat & about 8 miles. I use the Tow/Haul mode & it rides great. There is no sway & my trailer brakes work well with the truck. The ramp where I launch my boat is not too steep. The truck launches & more importantly retrieves the boat effortlessly.

Same with my 3100 bayliner.tows almost the same as my hemi ram.

I tested mine out this weekend as well. Much lighter setup, but it did very well. My boat ramp is pretty steep, but it did very well going in and pulling out.

I bought a set of Mirror extensions for mine, haven't towed with them yet but they work great.

it will do so much better than a RWD only full size trying to retrieve a boat, especially if Cap gets the tires wet backing the trailer in.

I tow a pontoon boat with the Mav. The issue I have is a launch ramp that is not steep at all. The pontoon boat sits above the trailer wheels not between them. I cannot back the Mav deep enough to launch the boat. Went from a F150 and even that had a hard time. I fault of the Mav it does pull it fine.

I have a shallow ramp also. What I bought that I only use for retrieving the boat is a hitch extender. After I pull out the boat in the fall, I disconnect and remove the extender. Because of the added leverage, I'd never drive with it.
It works fine for my use. Curt 18"

The Mav. w/4K and AWD does admirable.

Damn that does not look good. I used a hitch extender on the F150 but now I ask my newborn. The ramp is a quater mike away and it just goes in and out once a year.
