I keep a travel sized umbrella in the lower door, half of it is under the 6.5" speaker grille.

there's also a pocket-type of area towards the rear of the door. you can stuff a variety of things in there, but it's not overly useful IMHO.

I store plastic bags in mine just in case I need one. All the Mavs have that space

I use it for storing my gloves and hat in the winter. The doors have a very good amount of storage.

Oh, I gotcha now. Sorry. You did mention "behind the bottle slot" which is located in the door. I was thinking you were referring to somewhere in the console. Looks like you're getting some good answers.

I seem to remember early marketing materials labeled it as a slot for a tablet of small laptop. I have neither so I can't say for sure. I have a small umbrella in mine and a shopping bag for quick trips to Aldi.

I stick a baseball cap in there. The travel umbrella goes in the passenger side.

Because we have a dog. I keep a lint roller and a small microfiber towel there.

Thank you. After re-reading the initial post, I realized my mind skipped the reference to the door slot. I sorted it out with him.

I use the rear passenger door to hold Maya's water bottle.

I use the rear seat like a dispenser and have a roll of poop bags underneath it.

I've heard, if you put a sandwich in those green/brown bags no one will steal it
