One of the coolest perks is the daytime running lights that are an amber looking square in the background on them during the day.

Thought I’d post the before and after pictures. The kit is truly 2-3 hours to install. I could not be happier..

The kit could pass for a factory option.

This was a massive fail on Fords end not having fog lights on these trucks, it’s definitely one of my biggest complaints. I know you can buy aftermarket but it’s just silly they didn’t offer it

Though mine has tow hooks where the lights would go.

I agree. Totally. They are not for me as I do not drive at night that much so it is a financial investment I'm not willing to make but if anything it prolly looks better than factory.

Huge win for DD here capitalizing on a missed opportunity by FORD. They certainly got the message on the refresh. Same thing happened with the Escapes. People got a little creative on the forums over there before they started offering them as options

The way the light surround has the parallel lines splitting detail that matches the rear bumper exactly is as OEM as you can get. If someone told me that DD was going to be the supplier for Ford's lights originally, I wouldn't doubt it.

If you really want to go next level, run the wiring to the BCM and install the Ford headlight switch with the foglight control on it. Works exactly as OEM and even shows the indicator in the instrument cluster.

Just realized all this is a no go, as far as I can tell, on an FX/4 unless I'm willing to take a torch to the tow hooks which I don't think I would do.

It can be done but I think the JJC kit isn’t made anymore. I just finished the install today. Not as OEM as the non FX4 option from DD, but I’ll take it. I did used F150 headlight switch with fogs and activated it all via FORSCAN.
