I followed @Vtec87pr1 post to do mine. I had him build me a harness so it was plug and play. Post is here:

It can be done but I think the JJC kit isnāt made anymore. I just finished the install today. Not as OEM as the non FX4 option from DD, but Iāll take it. I did used F150 headlight switch with fogs and activated it all via FORSCAN.
Finished result. I used the small hole but cutting off the tip and the wires easily went through. Still snug fit but didnāt have to go through the big oval.
Finally got the fog lights in. Huge thanks again to @Vtec87pr1 for the harness he made up for me with the Deutche 2 pin connectors for my @Diode Dynamics fog lights.
It is a shame JJC isnāt making these kits anymore. Gave lots of adjustment. That was the only issue as had to have my wife have...

Anyway, I thought this may help a few others. Maybe not!
Iāve had my Maverick since mid June and finally made some room enough to throw it on the lift. I wanted to swap out the oil and see if I could stop a few rattles that I would hear from the back especially make a left turn or the truck lean to the right around a left bend. Even the wife noticed...
The nut will adjust it tighter and yes the threads are thicker to accommodate different doors (like Arcade where they use wood doors on the back) but those locks will work. They are commonly used on steel coin op doors like pinball.
