All these AWD Hybrids (predictably so).....feels like I'm signing up for another huge wait.

I'm my dealer's first 2025 order and they have always had allocations for vehicles when ordering (Broncos and Mavs) so fingers crossed.

But I wouldn't mind job 2 for the pro trailer, just to have it.

Is there any information available on any significance of the Order ID, in regards to build sequence? Mine starts with R, but have no idea what an R indicates compared to other starting letters in the OrderID.
Scheduling May start in October or the end of September. Then we will know how big the number of unscheduled vehicles are.

I don't think the wait will be as bad as last year.

I learned more about vehicle scheduling then I ever thought I would waiting for my Maverick.

Given that they're not even building them until November (they were taking orders for 2024s until the 9th I think? So they still have to build those). Might be a while. And they need to figure out how to build more of these. In fact I wonder if they even need the Ranger anymore...

If you have your sales code and order number you can call Ford or chat with them.
I called, they say my order is received/processing, and say they are aware of delays with confirmation emails. Hopefully I get an email soon or I may go crazy!!

It will be 3 months before they even start building the 2025. They were taking orders for 2024 up till last week. Probably at least 5 months before the first ones are delivered.
That's what my salesman said as well.

They definitely need a Ranger. If I were doing truck things daily, towing, etc - I would want a true ladder frame vehicle capable of towing well above the 4K package.

But for me - the AWD Hybrid checks nearly all the boxes.

@Flatout Suspension will be selling me a kit once it arrives and I'll be tossing some larger more aggressive AT tires on it which will likely result in MPG drop to the low or mid 30s but I'll take that all day long with the increased capability.

I think most of the truck things might be handled better by the F150. Except maybe off roading. The Ranger only holds 300 more pounds than the Maverick, and tows a lot less than an F150. I dunno, we'll have to see, but the Ranger is behind the Maverick in sales right now I think?

Ranger is big time behind the Mav in sales but it still definitely has a place.

Of course a full size is going to have a higher payload and greater towing capacity. Traditional ladder frame trucks handle abuse much better than unibody vehicles.

There is definitely a place for a Ranger that tows 7,500 lbs and has full size payload capability.

It doesn't have to be a sales leader for Ford to have it's place in the line up. Still very profitable.
