Jerry how have you liked the Ecoboost engine? I really struggled to decide which engine to get and I finally decided Ecoboost but still wonder if I made the wrong call.

Got my kid a 2024 Cactus Gray XL with Co-Pilot 360. His priority is reliability since he absolutely has to get to his grad school classes so we went with the Eco-boost. Sometimes I get envious of the hybrid gas mileage but I think we made the right choice. His previous vehicle, a 2013 F150 regular cab short bed 3.7L gave him years of service but it started to show it's age.

Been looking at Ford inventory recently and XL Eco-boosts are really hard to find now. His mileage is average being in the 20's but it seems when he takes longer freeway trips it seems to top 30+ MPG. His normal driving is city streets.

I don't have the XL version but I do have a MY22 2.0 EB AWD which I LOVE. The whole truck has been solid as a rock. Zero regrets.
