I was at my dealer this morning for an oil change and BCM recall. They have not received and calls or order request on the 2025 Maverick.

Some of the initial excitement seems to have waned along with price increases.
The initial release of the Maverick coming out at $19,995 generated a lot of excitement and press of its own.
From what I've read the base price is now gone up considerably from 2022-2025.

I remember when I first saw the $19,995 base price for the first run Mavericks I almost fell out of my chair. Of course, I missed out on that price and needed AWD anyway...

I think the new Mavericks will sell pretty well, in spite of the bizarre front end styling. The hybrid AWD 4K options have been highly anticipated.

I think you're on to something. I was expecting black-friday at Walmart this morning but things were quiet at my dealership

Also things are a little different in the world today. At least for me. In 9/22 when I placed my order I was in another situation. Prices and inflation have gone crazy and may have curbed enthusiasm and demand.

I'm still excited, especially for the awd hybrid. Driving a 2023 rollover now I've had for just over a year. Starting the process for a 2025 awd hybrid and it feels like the first time—just hoping the wait isn't as long. Also by upgrading, I'll save about 4k. The trade-in value for my 23 hybrid is still in the mid 20k range. Considering what I have left on it for payment, this is a no-brainer for me.

not as hard to get as they once were. you can go buy a Mav today for pretty much MSRP. there was a time when $5k markup was like the minimum. When I placed my order for MY23 they had 3 2022s on the lot each with $20k markup. Those days are long gone now.

They were highly anticipated, but will they capitalize on, or kill the anticipation at a nearly 1/3 price hike?

I hope that if demand is low, they realize & have room to roll back the pricing to a sweet spot vs continue to push maverick down a path of being a niche vehicle segment.

I think much more than a single successful model here, with the Maverick, Ford has an opportunity to get their brand into the eyes of many who never considered their offerings. I know I'm one. But it has to remain a price competitive option to other small SUVs and small hybrids in order to get that attention.

I think the vibe is still there with the new colors and options! I still love my First Edition from 2 years ago. The Lobo model is very appealing!!!

I have 2023 XLT (delayed from 2022). I am pretty interested in the 2025 especially with the tech additions with the 13" screen and wireless android/apple capability. To be clear, Sync 4 offers the SiriusXM option? The huge downer for me other than the large price increase is the grille change. Partially covering up the headlights with that grill piece is just terrible. WTH?

Price/Feature wise, I don't think things are terrible compared to 2023 models (when I bought mine). With changes in packaging, I might be perfectly happy with an XLT/Hybrid AWD with 4K. Most of the reason's that I justified the upgraded to a Lariat have now been included in the base XLT, the biggest of which, was the keyless door/push button start. The Sync 4 and larger screen would certainly be appreciated. I have FX4, but haven't been off-road at all in 16K miles. I mainly ticked that box for the recovery hooks and skid plate.

All that said, I'm not ordering a new one. I'll have mine paid off in ~2.5 years and I'll be happy to be payment free again.

Yes, Sync 4 offers Sirius/XM. It has more functionality than Sync 3. I use Sync 4 daily in my '23 Escape and really like it. It's interesting to see how we differ...I like the new font end and 19" rims. It looks more f-150ish.
