I wonder if the Lariat hybrid AWD can be flat towed. Looks like with the fascia change buyers who wish to flat tow maybe waiting awhile for the needed baseplate options. The Demco on our 24 is working out great.
I wondered as well if the AWD Hybrid would be flat-towable, but that facia change is going to require all the manufacturers to change their baseplates. With the ACC dropped so low, it doesn't look good at all for baseplates.
My 2023 with demco baseplate will be just fine for me to continue towing. I'd have been tempted by the AWD if they hadn't done the (ugly to me) front end refresh and delay everyone from getting a new baseplate for a lengthy period.

Can you explain why the new redesign is better? For a person who probably won't do any major tuning.

So the advantage of having both direct and port injection is 2-fold. One, it will keep the valves clean of carbon build up, keeping performance at the levels it should be. Two, each set of injectors supports the whole 238hp the engine offers, and most likely, way more. So, using all the injectors, and with a supporting turbo/modifications, it will be really easy to make a lot more power, because we have the fueling headroom.

EDIT: Also, even in stock form it will be allowed to run full E85, which is cheap and makes a lot of power....

I don’t care for the painted flap by the headlight, but having said that, it might becoming a good spot for mounting accessory lights (should a vendor design something). That, or some other aftermarket updated trim/grill piece to dress it up.

Id love to see what the new "flap" looks like painted a grill-matching satin black. But to your point, I also hope there are some cool aftermarket options to change the look.

I see it by the proback controller knob on the pictures.
Immediately next to the pro trailer assist knob is Auto Hold, not Auto Start/Stop. Below it is the push button start.

2020+ Escape Hybrid, on which Maverick Hybrid's powertrain is based, is flat-towable, looks like AWD does not change that. You'd want to get confirmation but it's likely Maverick Hybrid AWD will maintain flat tow capability. Escape has the ACC module in the same spot as Maverick's is moving to. You may want to browse the various RV forums to see others' experiences with 2020+ Escape Hybrid AWD toads.
