As someone mentioned before, I hope it isn't an April Fool's Day joke, but I just got scheduled for April 1st. Apparently the reports of them not scheduling any XL trims is false.

🛻 Cactus gray hybrid, hitch the only...
I'm on my second Maverick hybrid. Other than the silly radio, which has issues, I've had no problems. There are certain "quirks" that take some getting used to such as the regenerative braking, but nothing that can't overlooked for a truck that gets this kind of mileage. I am averaging 41.2 mpg...
I'm averaging 42.1 over the last 6 months. This is actual mileage, not the inflated mileage that the computer gives. I track it with the fuelly app. Mostly ECO mode in various weather conditions (I'm in Michigan). The cold takes a toll, but I still got 39mpg my last tank. My commute is mostly 2...
I've gotten 600 a few times on my commute of 2 lane 55 mph roads and 33 miles one way.
My lifetime average is 42.8 mpg actual (computer is not accurate). This is with a couple towing trips and a couple of mostly expressway trips. So, my tank average is about 591 miles. Highest tank was 47.9...
This is interesting. I'm in Michigan as well and had a '22 hybrid last winter. MPG took a hit in the cold months. I haven't had any battery issues on either truck ( I now have a '23 hybrid), but I did get a message on FordPass a few weeks ago that some features would be temporarily disabled, but...
Another vote for Michelin CrossClimate2. I live in Michigan and my driveway is gravel and uphill. I have always bought winter tires and dedicated wheels, but I'm sick of changing wheels on all of our vehicles twice per year. I heard good things about the CC2 so, when my wife needed new tires...
Both of my hybrid mavericks have done the same thing on occasion. I had a '22 and now have a '23. It is a little concering, but it happens rarely enough so that I haven't contacted the dealer. I'd be interested to see what they find, however.
"I thought I was done, but I just ordered the L Track cargo management system from @Maverick2112 on eBay, hopefully he still has some in stock. "
Yes, shipped today. I now have 4 left. Thank you.
L track cargo management system. Includes two rails, six tie downs, and mounting bolts. See details and purchase here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/275989587835
I have put XLT wheels on two different XL Mavericks. You will want to get new lug nuts, as the XL lug nuts have a large diameter to them made to hold on the plastic center cap. I bought black lug nuts and it looks great. No changes to the TPMS system are needed.
