Just a heads up. DO NOT order from Horne Kia. I ordered two mirrors from them and they only sent one mirror. I've been fighting with them to try and either refund me one mirror or send the missing one. They said they did send one out but would not give a tracking number. I had to go to PayPal for a refund.

I did pay $55 for it but well worth it should’ve came with the lariat lol I think the wife is impressed thanks

I am looking at installing the KIA rearview mirror in my 2024 Lariat. I can get the mirror on the OEM KIA Parts website for $50.00.

I looked through the Forum on how to install the mirror but could not find any detailed information. How many wires are in the attached pigtail? I assume you cut the pigtail off but what do you attach the wires to?

Does this mod void the warranty?

Any help would be appreciated.

Keep looking, there is a TON of info on the install of the Kia mirror.
Personally, I am going to wire mine to the fuse box, I do not like those 'scotch lok/tap type connectors.

My mirror is on the way, took a while for the dealer to get the mirror back in stock, should be here Saturday.
I don't see any warranty issues unless you cut a wire or it gets corroded due to those squeeze connectors on the tiny wires.

Installing a mirror won't effect the warranty. If you were to wire it wrong and fry something then you would be responsible for the repair. If your engine blows they won't look at your aftermarket mirror and say no warranty. Whatever failed would have to have a clear connection to the mirror you installed.

KIA is asking for my VIN #.

Just tell them you accept all responsibilities just ship it immediately. I've purchased two and it's shipped the next day had the mirror with in less of a week.

I put one in my Maverick XLT and another in my dad's Lincoln Corsair.

Use the RED ones. They are for smaller wires like AWG 18.

Don't pay that much for the mirror. It should be under 30.00 and around 35.00 or less shipped. I paid a little over 31 shipped for it.

Mine came in today. As my Mav is equipped with Co-Pilot 360, the install is quite easy with all the guidance you get from MTC and You-Tube, it was pretty simple. Like others, I only paid $21.17 (plus $12.00 shipping) for a mirror that is made by Gentex, who sells theirs for about $300, and eBay used ones at about $50 to $60.

I really like that it comes with everything needed to install onto my truck. Setup was easy following ya’lls helpful directions.

I could not be happier. Took about 2 1/2 hours including watching videos. Thanks again to all who documented their install.

How much effort was it to open the trim behind the mirror? Do you have any suggestions now that you've just done it sucessfully?
How did you splice into the wires? What type of splice materials did you use?
Did you take any pictures of the wiring?
