The previous one was like a thin silver quilt. It doesn't fold and doesn't roll up. Just sort of takes up space. It works, and the visors hold it in place. Biggest problem is where do you put it when you are not using it.

Con confirm good quality and fit. Thick for a folding one, in a good way. Easy to use and store, unlike the stiff/cardboard/reinforced folding ones. [OEM or similar] I much prefer this design.
Not a "new" design by Mabett though. "Introducing" a rebrand of an existing product. lol

time for a re-post. it folds nicely into 8 sections. I keep it behind the passenger seat. Cost was $109.00. I’ve had it since 1-2022. Best thing about it is , it says Maverick on it.

I more than likely have this unit but from a different vendor as I got it over a year ago. The edges curl a bit over time and the stitching on the velcro has partially failed, but the heat reduction is astounding for the price.

Took a bit to master folding it back up into circles.

looks nice. i love my Mabett floor mats and bed liner but i don't think this would work with my dashcam.

Those are cool. I got one that unfolds, folds like an umbrella. Fits great, fast and easy to put up, remove. Folds into small cylinder like shape, can stow in door pocket.

in S Texas area, not keep cabin cool, but I use it to keep plastic dashboard from sun baked evaporating plastizers onto the windshield, not create a sheen effect.

I've been using one of those mylar type shades that I got at Dollar Tree and I don't think it has made much of a difference, so I ordered the Mabett. I don't mind supporting a company that took a chance on the popularity of the Maverick enough to start manufacturing accessories. Hopefully, the quality of the Mabett will make a difference. If not, I'll let them know.

I hod one of those umbrella type and thought it was a great idea. However, the ends of the stays (I think that's what they're called) would leave marks on the dash whenever I opened and closed it. Hopefully, you're not having that issue.
