So this is something im wanting to try but have never messed with. Id like to not remove them if possible so im looking for some advice from those who know better. So the process ive seen so far.
spray down with brake cleaner and wipe off after a few minutes.
Do we need to sand them down or not? they arent rusted up yet and still fairly new.
wipe down with alcohol to remove any debris
When it comes to taping them off, is there anything specific to look for. I understand to essentially tap off anything not the caliper. I'm ok with the pads being sprayed like that one video guide.
painting wont be much of a hassle i think. im using some vht engine paint.
Is it worth doing a clear coat or the paint coat is fine?
hopefully ive not missed anything crucial.
