Definitely not legal while driving. I think technically even an LED valve stem cover is illegal. Only CHP would enforce that one though

from my understanding, you can't run red, blue, or green lights as those are law enforcement. You cant have them flashing either. This is usually why you'll see trucks running solid white lights. Now this might vary per state but thats what it is for louisiana.

usually you need to look for neon/underglow light laws as thats what these fall under.

Finally finished my project to get the brake calipers painted and wheel lights installed. The brake calipers were painted with a Color matched M7440 atlas blue metallic paint from G2. The wheel light kit is a V1 17" double sided kit from Mictuning.

Very nice! You are all set up for a car show.

It DOES matter and NO those lights are NOT legal if used on any public streets or highways. I am cautiously optimistic that he only has these for car shows, and wouldn't be using them on the roadway. He'd be pulled over in nothing flat.

I did respond to another comment asking this. It varies per state. they typically fall under laws regarding neon/underglow. For Louisiana, its legal only under certain conditions. No red, green, or blue lights and no flashing lights.

All of this is at the discretion of police officers either way.

being honest, I probably have upwards of 20-22 hours into this. between figuring out everything, troubleshooting and wire management. It took a lot of time. waiting a full day just for the brakes to try was also a time waste.

Having done it now and knowing all the supplies and tools i'll need. I could probably cut the labor part in half.

Now you just need to put that on wheels, give it a cheap battery, and a little glitchiness from time to time

lol I'm the exact opposite of this trend to RGB everything in the PC market

I even disconnected the portion of the GPU that has an RBG plate on it

I went through the RGB phase with my first build back in 2016.
