lol I'm the exact opposite of this trend to RGB everything in the PC market

I even disconnected the portion of the GPU that has an RBG plate on it 🤣

I went through the RGB phase with my first build back in 2016.

Shameless plug for my PCPP build link

My pc has all sorts of rgb too. But like the wheel lights. I make sure its completely controllable so I can turn stuff off as needed.

being honest, I probably have upwards of 20-22 hours into this. between figuring out everything, troubleshooting and wire management. It took a lot of time. waiting a full day just for the brakes to try was also a time waste.

Having done it now and knowing all the supplies and tools i'll need. I could probably cut the labor part in half.
Definitely like the painted calipers, and right color for me too.

So it’s a two part paint mix. How did you break it up for multiple coats? Did you jack stand it with all four wheels off at the same time? Dry time between coats? Where do you buy the paint?

Been watching for threads on caliper painting!

Great look!

The kit is by G2. You have to buy it online. it only has a 4 hour working time at most so you need to do all 4 at the same time. The cure time is around 15 minutes so by the time you touch up all 4, the first one has dried enough.

you can see the progress of the work here. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...ed-questions-as-i-install-wheel-lights.53904/

Finally finished my project to get the brake calipers painted and wheel lights installed. The brake calipers were painted with a Color matched M7440 atlas blue metallic paint from G2. The wheel light kit is a V1 17" double sided kit from Mictuning.
