Hi, I know this thread is a couple years old, but finding this, just helped me in knowing how to remove that USB port panel so I was able to mount a push button to activate a garage door opener, so I appreciate it.
But, I was wondering about the light that appears to be mounted in the panel to light the area below it. My 2024 Maverick XLT Hybrid doesn't have that light. It has a little impression that looks more like a battery shape, but no light. I was wondering if that was normal on the previous year models and if you might have any information on how it's wired in if possible (what harness and wire color) so I can see if I can replicate it on mine. Also, does it dim with the dash lights or is it switchable?

As I recall it's dimmable with the other dash lights.

It's dimmed via a screen in infotainment vehicle settings.
