I took my 2023.maverick in for the update for the dash board inductors. Now my outside turn signals work correctly, but the dash board indicator flashes super fast and is very loud. Ford is blaming it on the Lasfit LED bulbs. I call bull shit. Has anyone else had the problem.

Yea it's a FORD thing and there have been updates from LASFIT to account for it. Sounds like you got the old bulbs. I also have them. The fix is disabling hyperflash in ForScan. So Technically FORD is not wrong, but it's their crappy system that is the issue.

Can you guide me to the correct module in FORScan?

Sorry, it's actually the "outage" notification. So there is a disadvantage to it.

Here is a thread on it:

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/confirmed-forscan-hyperflash-fix-post-recall.42179/
I don't think there really is a disadvantage to disabling it, as Lasfit is using a resistor to fool the computer as far as I know. That means as long as the resistor is working, the truck will not think there is a problem regardless if the bulbs are lighting or not. So no loss there...

The issue is that if the bulb goes out, you have no way of knowing other than visually. Since the hyper flash is disabled, nothing will notify you there is no signal from the bulb.

I get that- what I'm saying is with the Lasfit bulbs even when they were working "correctly" I don't think you would have gotten the hyper flash anyway, since there is still a resistor in the bulb.

Back in April, my LasFit "Switchbacks"
Hyperflashed one time, while we were in town, in heavy traffic, making a long double left turn on to the freeway to head home.
I now try to limit the time my turn signal is on.
I take care to limit my flashing. 😎😳

If you put in the LASFIT T3 bulb you will still get about 3 guick flashes.

As long as you are using version 2 of the Lastfit bulb.

what trim level Mav do you have? the Lariat has no fix for the rear bulb issue even through Lasfit. Lasfit has even discontinued selling their rear bulbs for the Lariat and it's not included in their buy em all packages anymore. I have the Lasfit bulbs in my Lariat trim and had to disable the rear bulb outage notification (the hyper flash) using FORSCAN. works fine and I just have to be vigilant on checking my rear bulbs for outages.

Lasfit bulbs are not compatible with the Lariat Hybrid. They no list them on their web site. Try Diode Dynamics or as I did, I have Headlight Revolution which you can get on Amazon or from the company. Depending on which bulb you get, Diode Dynamics has a built in resistor for the brake/turn lights, Headlight Revolution bulbs need a resistor installed, it's not difficult.

2024 Lariat. Just put the Lasfit bulbs in my front turn signals only. No hyper flashing in or out.

You need to tell my Lariat that the ones in it (Lasfit 4257s) don't work....
