Has anyone tried to analyze the lower shots to see if the rear diff (or whatever you want to call it) is new or that of the AWD Eco ?
Certainly an independent rear suspension.

Interesting, I didn't know that was the case! However, besides the Hybrid badge, there is still nothing confirming this is a hybrid awd setup. The circumstances here still point to this being an Ecoboost model. This is just my opinion of course, but I will always remain skeptical until proof is shown.

Is that possibly the new front end?

That is much better and similar to the Ranger. Unfortunately the new Maverick front is what has been shown. Though the lobo was the worst of them. The rest are ok.

Yea, I saw the same thing, just wondering about the Tranny?
So it's going to be an eCVT.

One could assume just like with the 8F35 that if 4K towing is added they will add some additional cooling capacity to it.

Still hope they drop the breath-rite strip.

I am talking about the diff.
That center piece almost looks like a cover and maybe much different that ECO's.
I know, I just could not confirm from this picture about the AWD, however, why would they install the independent suspension if they were not including the AWD?

Adding a second electric motor in the rear from what i hear is less moving parts and less expensive to make vs. normal rear wheel drive components. I would want the plain jane XL package and i hope it comes in at $27k or less MSRP.

I know they like to camouflage cars but Ford knowing that there are a lot of customers who want an AWD hybrid for them to disguise it this way on purpose and then say "just kidding!"doesn't sound like good business.

We just spied the latest camouflage reduction on Ford’s revamped 2025 Maverick which confirms once and for all that the mid-cycle overhaul will marry the Hybrid powertrain with AWD, answering one of the big wish-list items since the compact pickup burst on the scene.

Badges Confirm Hybrid AWD Addition to the Maverick Lineup
This confirmation comes thanks to the removal of the rest of the camouflage on one of the Maverick prototypes—named Benito, according to the sticker applied to the truck’s rear window. With the rear camouflage gone, the fully-badged tailgate announces this important new development. Now, Maverick buyers don’t have to choose between a FWD-only fuel-sipper, or the less-efficient AWD variant. They can get power to all four wheels, AND the Maverick’s fuel-efficient hybrid drivetrain. We also included an earlier shot of the “Benito” before the graphic wrap was removed, in order to provide a better look at the independent rear suspension that makes up the Maverick AWD variant.

New Grille Design and Front-Fascia Fully Revealed
This Hybrid AWD prototype also gives us our first fully uncovered look at another one of the Maverick’s revised front fascias for its 2025 lineup. Our earlier shots of a blue, Lariat-badged, undisguised Maverick prototype with lots of body-color trim revealed a new vertically-slatted grille design that was likely a new sporty package available for the Lariat or XLT trims (as it is with the Tremor package). This new prototype—Benito—is also badged as a Lariat, but its aggressive grille texture is completely different, and reveals the Maverick’s new face without the body-color accents and newly available fog lights. We also get a very close-up look at the Maverick’s redesigned headlights, which have more F-150 flavor on the trucklet’s new face.

We also get another look at the Maverick’s new, larger infotainment screen, without any camouflage adorning the dashboard. Once again, it appears to be the 13.2-inch landscape display that is also found on the upper trims of the Ford Escape and the Mustang. More tech upgrades will be found in augmented safety sensors, which may also bring with it Blue Cruise availability. New cameras have been installed on the side mirrors of higher-end Maverick trims, along with a frontal radar sensor that can be seen nestled into the truck’s lower air-intake.

I like the grill. I shudder to think what it will cost. I bet it will be $40,000. Once it hits that point you move into something larger.

Personally, I won't consider trading for a hybrid until Ford works out the bugs.

Hopefully people will shut up about an AWD hybrid now, super annoying. Most people don't even need it.
Exactly, even in snow country you don't need AWD, just a good set of winter tires. My wife dove a Camry for 9 years and never had one issue in the winter and I don't expect any problems with my '24 Hybrid.
